Senior Legal Counsel (In-House)

The company is seeking an experienced lawyer for the position of Head of Legal Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full management of all legal matters, providing both strategic and operational support. This role requires the immediate assumption of responsibilities and close collaboration with the company’s management team, as well as with external partners (accountants, banks, authorities).

Job Duties

Provision of comprehensive legal advisory support in commercial, corporate, and regulatory law.
Drafting and negotiation of civil and commercial contracts (including distribution, agency, marketing, banking, insurance, lease agreements, etc.).
Corporate maintenance and legal advice on corporate law matters (share capital increases, M&As, and other corporate actions).
Handling issues related to competition law, consumer protection, market regulation, intellectual & industrial property, and regulatory compliance.
Monitoring and implementation of new regulatory frameworks (ESG, GDPR compliance, whistleblowing).
Representation in negotiations with banks, suppliers, and business partners.
Litigation experience, including drafting of legal documents and handling of civil/commercial cases, with emphasis on non-performing loans and debt recovery.
Legal support on labor law matters and drafting/updating HR policies.
Drafting and updating of internal regulations (compliance, corporate governance)

Skills / Requirements

• Law degree and license to practice law in Greece.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in commercial/corporate law, with significant in-house legal experience.
• Proven expertise in contract drafting and negotiation, corporate maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Desired Qualifications:
• Postgraduate degree in commercial or corporate law.
• In-house experience with substantial involvement in the above-mentioned areas.
