The new Antony Morato fall-winter 18/19 collection draws inspiration from a variety of styles from the past, giving them a contemporary twist: a glamourous journey from the 70s to the 90s.
Vintage remains the main inspiration for the entire collection: the traditional grunge and hippie outfits are redesigned with punk rock details; the retro style is mixed with the military and college fashion. The result is a collection made of unique, new and bold garments that live in perfect harmony with the more formal part of the collection. Though different in style, the two souls of the collection share the same colors, materials and prints. The color palette features a wide range of chromatic tones: burgundy, camel, ochre and petrol blue combine with melange grey; black is enlivened by bright colors like light blue, red and orange; army green contrasts with blue, khaki and creamy white.
The collection features all the must haves of this season: plaid flannel shirts, oversize coats, colored patch fleeces, military parkas and 70-style t-shirts. Unusual and original combinations like the macro prints paired with tartan and wide stripe patterns, the embroidered patches on fleeces and the rock-style stud detailing are the soul of this collection.
The Antony Morato man keeps on exploring new ways, playing with contrasts and mixing
